Billy Joel is dealing with hydrocephalus . . . a.k.a. water on the brain. He says he’s mostly healthy, but it does affect his balance, which means he’s not allowed to drive. That’s one reason he’s selling his motorcycle collection. The other is, quote, “I’m into my 70s now, and I realized I can’t ride as much as I used to. I don’t want to die like a bug on a windshield.” He’s also not allowed to perform. His neurologist told him that he’s basically giving himself a concussion every time he hits the stage. Why is it so damaging? Quote, “The volume. Rock ‘n’ roll is loud, man. Rock ‘n’ roll made me deaf already. So it’s the lighting, the sound, the stress of the show, the audience, the energy of the performance.” Billy WANTS to get back to performing, but only further testing will determine if it happens.
Warren Zeiders met an elderly fan at a recent meet and greet who thought she had been talking to him. It turns out she’s been getting SCAMMED. She went up to him and said, quote, “Can I ask you something? I’m not talking to you on anything am I? I have lost a lot of money to these scammers.” The older lady then asked if she could give him her number so they could talk about it and he gently refused.
