Jennifer Lopez admitted she gets jealous when someone flirts with her man.  Quote, “I will let them know in a very elegant and lady-like way to step all the way off.”

Bill Skarsgard . . . who played Pennywise the Clown in the “It” movies . . . was busted for marijuana possession in Sweden.  He was ordered to pay a $4,000 fine.

The rumor mill is chugging along these days, with talks of Beyoncé teaming up with Taylor Swift.  Well, now even more country stars are being linked to Beyoncé’s next album.  It’s none other than the Queen herself, Dolly Parton, and Miley Cyrus. Back in an interview with Trevor Noah in 2022, Dolly said that she would love Beyoncé to cover “Jolene”.  She said she could, “take my little songs and make them powerhouses.  That would be a marvelous day in my life.” And now according to a reliable source (whatever that means nowadays), “Miley Cyrus and Beyoncé WILL BE collaborating on a version of ‘Jolene’.”  They went on to say that, “Beyoncé was impressed by Miley’s cover and wanted her to join the collab.”  And if that happens, sales are sure to skyrocket.  Even without Dolly or Miley on her songs, Beyoncé is still crushing the iTunes country charts.  All four versions of “Texas Hold ‘Em” are in the Top Five.  That’s the explicit version . . . the acapella . . . the original . . . and the instrumental version. And then “16 Carriages” took up the last Top Five spot at #2.  That is pure domination folks.  Now just imagine what Beyoncé would do if she added Dolly and Miley into the mix.

This is an awesome story.  Diplo was hiking through Kenya recently and ran into two men that were listening to Toby Keith on their phone.  He even sang the chorus to “Shoulda Been a Cowboy” as they all shared a warm laugh together. Diplo wrote, “Toby, thanks for letting me and two random Kenyan hikers feel connected through your music.” And the caption on his post was, “Proof that music connects us all no matter where you come from.”

If you’ve ever wanted to see Africa, October would be a good time to go.  Kip Moore and Zac Brown Band will be co-headlining South Africa’s first ever country music festival.  Darius Rucker and Brothers Osbourne will be there for it too. Tickets go on sale today.  They’re expecting up to 60,000 fans a day, which goes to show how far-reaching country music’s appeal is right now.  But it’s not exactly new territory. More than 40,000 fans in South Africa came out to see Kip last year, and Zac has done multiple concerts there.

Morgan Wallen is opening his own bar in Nashville, but it won’t be a cozy neighborhood dive . . . it’s going to be closer to a CORPORATE HIGH-RISE.  Literally.  It’s SIX stories tall, and spans 30,000 square feet. It’ll be called “This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen” . . . after his song “This Bar” from a few years ago . . . and it will include three live music stages, six bars, a restaurant, an open-air rooftop, a gift shop . . . and ELEVATORS, presumably. This massive complex is being built now, and will open sometime this summer.  It’s adjacent to Ryman Auditorium and directly off of Broadway.
