Did you know Kate Hudson is in “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York”?  She was one of the kids singing in the choir at the beginning.  She would’ve been around 13 years old. She still get residuals. . . 10 cents every once in a while.” Joey Lawrence also shared he gets like 2 cents for all the commercials he did as a kid.  But at least the powers that be are being fair and honest.

A list of Valentine songs:

1.  “The Dance” by Garth Brooks.

2.  “I Cross My Heart” by George Strait.

3.  “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton.

4.  “I Will Always Love You” by Dolly Parton.

5.  “Need You Now” by Lady A.

Beyoncé is dominating the country music news cycle right now with talks of her putting out a country album.  Her fans are pushing her music harder than ever, but this one Oklahoma radio station was not afraid to lay down the law. Someone requested they play Beyoncé’s new song, “Texas Hold ‘Em” on KYKC in Oklahoma and they replied with, “Hi, we do not play Beyoncé on KYKC as we are a country music station.”  Then we found a Twitter account called, “Beyoncé Legion”, who sent out a message that gave instructions on how you could google your local country station and request one of her new songs.  So, it’s the Beyhive versus old school country radio, who’s gonna win? Well, apparently, Beyoncé wins, because late last night the radio station folded to public pressure and now WILL be playing the song after all. This got us thinking, do you remember the 2016 CMA Awards when Alan Jackson walked out when Beyoncé started performing with the Dixie Chicks?  When asked about Alan’s walkout, a Nashville manager said, “it spoke volumes for the traditional, real country acts.” Travis Tritt was also not pleased that they added Beyoncé into the show that night.  He tweeted, “I have nothing against Beyoncé.  It’s the CMA producers that I’m disappointed in.  Country doesn’t need pop acts for ratings.”

Another reminder to not get your “news” from social media:  There’s a post making the rounds that claims Garth Brooks got kicked out of a Toby Keith tribute for being “too woke.”  But there’s zero truth to it. It came from a site that claims to post “satire.”  But all they really do is crank out fake news stories to trick people, so PLEASE don’t repost it.  Garth put out a nice statement about Toby after he passed away last week. In real Toby news, he’s got the #1 album in America again, across ALL genres.  His “35 Biggest Hits” album from 2008 made it all the way to the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart, knocking “One Thing at a Time” by Morgan Wallen back down to #2.  It’s the fifth time one of Toby’s albums has topped that list.

The other day there was a rumor going around that Taylor Swift got kicked out of the Academy of Country Music.  This was due to complaints of her winning so many awards, even though she had no country hits. Well, it was published on Latherland.com, which is a SATIRE website, so it’s absolutely FALSE.

A year from now, Jelly Roll might only be HALF the man he is now.  Because Gary Brecka . . . who has been referred to as a “human biologist” and a “biohacker” . . . is helping him lose weight. Brecka says Jelly Roll weighed in at 494 pounds when they started working together, and he plans to strip 250 pounds off him in the next 12 to 14 months. He says, “I am so excited to be on this journey with him, and he’s been very vulnerable about it too.  He said ‘You know Gary, this is the first time that I’ve felt like my weight is killing me.'”

Sharon Stone says it’s expensive to be famous . . . partly because whenever you go out to eat, you’re expected to pick up the check.

Only Murders in the Building will be making a major change when it returns for Season 4. The show has predominantly taken place in the New York City apartment building The Arconia, but after three seasons, the show will see Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez make the move to Los Angeles where presumably more building-based murder will occur.

According to a new book, Bea Arthur thought her “Golden Girls” co-star Betty White was two-faced.

Brian Wilson is finally set to release his 1970s era country album featuring. Titled Cows in the Pasture, the long-lost album is slated to see the light of day sometime in 2025
