Toby Keith has died, his social media sites and website announced early Tuesday. He was 62. He “passed peacefully last night on February 5th, surrounded by his family. He fought his fight with grace and courage. Please respect the privacy of his family at this time.” Keith announced in June 2022 that he’d been undergoing treatment for stomach cancer since the previous fall.

Buckingham Palace announced yesterday that 75-year-old King Charles the Third has cancer. They didn’t specify what type, but the prognosis is reportedly good and it was caught “very early”. It was discovered during his latest procedure for a benign enlarged prostate.  The Palace says, quote, “He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible . . .”His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.” Prince Harry will be traveling to visit his father, but it’s unlikely Meghan Markle and the kids will join.  Sources say this visit could force Harry and Prince William into an “uneasy truce”. In case you’re wondering, if Charles decides to step down due to illness, William is next in line.  He’s followed in the line of succession by his three kids: 10 year old George, 8 year old Charlotte, and 5 year old Louis.  Harry is fifth in line.

Justin Timberlake is reportedly considering a tell-all interview with Oprah to put his issues with Britney Spears to rest.  Sources say he’s frustrated that they’re overshadowing the new album he’s about to drop.

The Grammys were a smash on Sunday night and Jelly Roll looked like he had himself a fine old time.  He was seen dancing and vibing all night.  And while he didn’t win Best New Artist, he handled the loss like a true pro. He tweeted, “Just so we are clear, Victoria Monet deserved that award.  She is incredible.  She has been writing hits for everyone else for a long time.”  He closed it out by saying, “We come back next year stronger (with) more nominations . . . I’m inspired.” Also, Jelly Roll’s wife Bunnie XO caught an awesome moment between him and Taylor Swift while they were taking a picture together.  She posted a cute video on Tiktok saying, “When your hubby gets to meet his crush finally.”

Zach Bryan is having a pretty big week.  First a Grammy win, and now his new music video’s got an OSCAR-WINNER in it?  It’s for his song “Nine Ball” from last year’s “Boys of Faith” E.P. . . . and Matthew McConaughey stars. He plays the dad character with a gambling problem, who turns his kid into a pool shark.  The son is Tye Sheridan, Cyclops in the “X-Men” movies.

Lainey Wilson won Best Country Album Sunday night at the Grammys, and fans were quick to analyze Kelsea Ballerini’s reaction, since she was also up for the award.  So, to clear the air, Kelsea said, “You can be bummed for your loss and happy for somebody else’s win at the same time.” Then she got philosophical.  Quote, “Two things can be true and both hold valid and valuable space.  The ‘face-reading’ and ‘reaction-analysis’ is unnecessary and hurtful to everyone.  A woman’s win is a team win.  Write about that instead?”

Some people are calling it the greatest Grammy performance of all time.  And you already know what I’m talking about:  The duet between Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs on “Fast Car”. It made such an impact that Tracy’s original version of the song . . . which is almost 36 years old, has hit #1 on iTunes. Meanwhile, Luke said he’ll have more to say after he’s able to process it all.  Luke’s version of “Fast Car” previously hit #1 on country radio, and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming is working on a book about being a caregiver for a loved one battling dementia.

The Grammys drew 16.9 million viewers, which is a 34% increase from last year.

The Grateful Dead just broke the record for most Top 40 albums, with 59.  They were previously tied with Elvis and Frank Sinatra with 58.

Charlie Heaton is 30.  Jonathan Byers on “Stranger Things”.

Rick Astley is 58.  “Never Gonna Give You Up”.

Axl Rose is 62.

Richie McDonald is 62.  Lonestar lead singer.

Kathy Najimy is 67.  Wendy Keegan on “Veep”.  You may also remember her from “Hocus Pocus” and as the chubby nun from the “Sister Act” movies.

Fabian is 81.  Teen idol from the ’50s and ’60s.

Tom Brokaw is 84.

Mike Farrell is 85.  Captain B.J. Hunnicutt on “M*A*S*H”.

Emma Stone would like to be called by her real name, which is Emily.  When she became an actress she had to change it to Emma because there was already an Emily Stone. Jennifer Aniston is producing a remake of the Dolly Parton classic, “9 to 5”.  There’s no word if she will star in…

Jimmy Kimmel had Chris Stapleton on his show and he absolutely killed it on their “Wing It and Sing It” segment.  Jimmy explained that Chris used to love the show “Full House”, specifically John Stamos. So, the song they had Chris sing was sort of a loving tribute to his “hero”, John Stamos.  He had…
