If you’re a huge Dolly Parton fan, you probably know she often wears fingerless gloves. They tend to be flesh-colored or sheer, and depending on the angle or situation, they blend in so well you don’t even notice. Well, the Internet has noticed, and they’re making a big deal out of it, so here we go. First, she doesn’t talk about them too much, which is unusual for Dolly. She shares stories about her wigs, boobs, tattoos, and pretty much everything else. A guy who runs a Dolly fansite said she wears the gloves to cover a scar she got after corrective hand surgery in 2010. That fits because she recently said the only reason she has tattoos is to cover her “keloid scar tissue”. Someone said they’re compression gloves for arthritis, while others think it’s to hide age spots. And then there’s Dolly’s creative director, Steven Summers, who says she wears them “as a matter of personal taste.” I’m going with Steven.

A lot of people can’t resist the pop prowess of Olivia Rodrigo . . . and Tim McGraw is one of them. Faith Hill posted a video of Tim rockin’ out to “Good 4 U” in the car. It sounds like at least one of their daughters is there laughing. Tim is probably being a little facetious, but it’s a fun clip.
Jimmie Allen will be a speaker at the undergraduate ceremony of his alma mater, Delaware State University, in May. He said, quote, “I met lifetime friends there and learned so much about who I am as a Black man . . . [I] hope I can share something that will inspire the next generation of leaders.”
If you’ve been enjoying Zach Bryan’s music on “Yellowstone”, well, so has he. He’s especially proud of “Tishomingo” being on the show’s mid-season finale, “A Knife and No Coin”. Here’s what he Tweeted about it on Tuesday. “My favorite ‘Yellowstone’ scene with my song in it by far, what it was intended for, American cowboys. Thank you @Yellowstone, once again.”
Brantley Gilbert says he’s met a lot of people in the music business, but the one guy who has impressed him the most, is Blake Shelton.
