So far several people who saw BOB SAGET before his death all said he seemed fine. But now someone has come forward with a different story. Rosalie Cocci works at the venue where Bob did his final show, and she says Bob told them he was battling long COVID, and he admitted he didn’t feel great, but said he was ready to do the show. Apparently, COVID was messing with his hearing, and he was just getting over a sore throat. But Rosalie said, “He seemed okay . . . and it was really surprising the next day. I mean, he wasn’t sweaty, he didn’t miss a beat, he didn’t stutter, his language wasn’t drawn out, nothing slurred.”

Luke Combs will no longer be performing at the 2022 CMT Music Awards. On Wednesday, March 23, a spokesperson for CMT confirmed Luke has COVID-19 and is currently quarantining and unable to make a scheduled taping for the awards show, which was set to take place tonight. Luke was scheduled to tape his CMT Music Awards performance in advance of the show alongside Kane Brown. Old Dominion will be filling in. Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd, Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson, Little Big Town, Carly Pearce, Keith Urban Lainey Wilson, and more will be there during the three-hour CBS broadcast, which will air on Monday, April 11. Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks. Luke is currently nominated for two awards at this year’s ceremony, including Video Of The Year and Male Video Of The Year both for “Forever After All”. He and his wife, Nicole are expecting their first child together later this Spring.

MADELEINE ALBRIGHT, the first female secretary of state, lost her battle with cancer. She was 84. President Bill Clinton chose Albright as America’s top diplomat in 1996, and she served in that capacity for the last four years of the Clinton administration. She had previously been Clinton’s ambassador to the United Nations. At the time, she was the highest-ranking woman in the history of U.S. government. In 2012, President Barack Obama awarded Albright the Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, saying her life was an inspiration to all Americans.
HANK WILLIAMS JR.’s wife Mary Jane Thomas passed away. She was 58. The early indication is it appears she suffered a complication — possibly a blood clot — following a medical procedure. Mary Jane, a former model for Hawaiian Tropic suntan lotion, has been married to Hank since 1990 — the couple met in 1985 at one of his concerts in Washington State. They had 2 children together — daughter Katie Williams-Dunning and son Samuel Williams. Katie died tragically in a 2020 car accident in Tennessee.
