An artist reimagined the cover of Garth Brooks “Ropin’ The Wind” album, by adding tattoos to his hands, neck, and beneath his eye. They sent it in, and Garth’s crew showed it on the screen behind him. After laughing it off, he remembered something. “Y’know, I owe my baby a tattoo. I owe my youngest a tattoo, and I gotta figure out what it’s gonna be, but it’s gotta be done this year, in 2022, so we’ll figure it out.” His youngest is singer Allie Colleen, who’s 25, and very tattooed. He added, “I gotta pay. We decided on it years ago and this is the year I have to pay it off. So, we’ll get her done.”
Keith Urban saw Dolly Parton’s interview on “Good Morning America” when she was asked who she’d like to bake a cake for . . . and sing a duet with. She name-checked Keith because he’s “one of the most talented and cutest guys in the world.” He responded Friday with a post on Instagram. First he re-played some of Dolly’s interview . . . then he performed a little bit of her song “Applejack”. Then came the acceptance. Quote, “Miss Dolly. I’m honored of the things you said. Thank you. I definitely will have a cake with you.” His wife Nicole Kidman was there, and she said, “I’ll bake the cake with you. But don’t take my man.” Keith added, quote, “Thank you so much. Singer SAM WILLIAMS is in a conservatorship, and he wants out. He shared a series of Tweets last week saying he’s “been quiet for a long time” but he’s had enough. He was put in 18 months ago by his dad, Hank Williams Jr., and half-sister Holly Williams. This seems to be related to the death his sister, Katie Williams, who was killed in a car accident in June of 2020.
Queen Elizabeth has announced she wants Camilla Parker Bowles to take her crown after she’s gone. She posted a statement thanking everyone for the love and devotion over these many years … she ended with this message, “And when, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me – [A]nd it is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service.” The reason that’s a big deal — apparently, it was previously decided that when Charles ascended to the throne … Camilla would be known as Princess Consort, so this is a major would-be promotion that Liz is making very public and known well ahead of time.
