Remember BO . . . the first of two dogs adopted by THE OBAMAS back in 2009?  Well sadly, he died of cancer on Saturday.  He was 12 . . . in human years. BARACK OBAMA posted this tribute:  Quote, “Today our family lost a true friend and loyal companion.  For more than a decade, Bo was a constant, gentle presence in our lives . . . happy to see us on our good days, our bad days, and every day in between. “He tolerated all the fuss that came with being in the White House, had a big bark but no bite, loved to jump in the pool in the summer, was unflappable with children, lived for scraps around the dinner table, and had great hair.”

TAWNY KITAEN died Friday morning at her home in Newport Beach, California.  There’s no word yet on the cause of death.  She was 59 years old. Tawny might be most famous as an old-school “video vixen” in the WHITESNAKE videos. She was married to singer DAVID COVERDALE at the time. Over the years, Tawny struggled with substance abuse.  Later in her career, she appeared on reality shows like “The Surreal Life”, “Botched”, and “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew”. She was married to Angels pitcher CHUCK FINLEY from 1997 to 2002.  They had two daughters,

Gary Allan has announced his long-awaited new album, Ruthless, available June 25. Pre-order Ruthless HERE. The California native marks his return to the spotlight with a stunning 13 track album produced by Mark Wright, Tony Brown, Greg Droman, Jay Joyce, and Allan himself. The songwriting shines, setting the tone for a body of work that feels engaging and fresh. The superb instrumentation is a stand-out of the record which adds a layer of complexity and appeal, drawing from Allan’s deep-rooted influences of the ‘80s and ‘90s. Allan’s unique storytelling coupled with his artistic nature masterfully ties the project together into his best work to date. “This is a montage of everything I have done since my last album,” Allan says of Ruthless. “It’s what I love.  I remain influenced by the ‘90s — as well as by the ‘80s. Twenty-six tracks were cut for this album.  Then I went back to the studio and recorded three or four more tracks. Then I returned for two more. From each of these many sessions, I stripped out the cool stuff that I wanted on the record.”

The OLD DOMINION guys admit they’ve been shaking off some of the rust in front of their “Band Behind the Curtain Tour”, which kicks off May 27th.

KANE BROWN has been writing so many songs that his hand may start cramping.  Quote, “I’ve had so much fun writing songs for this next album.  I have over 40 and I’m still going.”  No word when the next album will be out.

The odds that THOMAS RHETT and his wife Lauren will end up having six kids continues to rise.  We know that SHE wants five or six little ones, and that he’d like to have at least one son. Well, he announced over the weekend that they’re expecting their fourth daughter in the fall . . . so it looks like he’s got some work to do before bringing a little man into the family.  Poor guy. And even if they do end up having six girls, that’s okay because the guy loves being a dad.  In a recent interview he was asked how often his three daughters play dress up. Quote, “It never ends.  We’re painting nails three times a day, mine get painted sometimes.  I’ve just kind of embraced the life of a girl dad.”

DIERKS BENTLEY has two road trips coming up.  The High Times & Hangovers club tour starts tomorrow . . . and the just-announced Beers on Me Tour kicks off August 13th in Salt Lake City. “Rolling Stone” asked if he has any worries about being one of the first artists to get out in front of people.  He said he got the Pfizer shot and is “totally comfortable” with it because he “trusts science.”  But he can’t control other people. Quote, “If you haven’t gotten the shot, I respect your choice not to get one, but it’s like buying a ticket to go to a ski mountain:  At this point, you’ve got to assume your own risks.  There are inherent risks you assume coming to a concert. “You had a chance to get the vaccine.  You don’t want to?  Cool.  But don’t sue me or the promoters if you get sick, because that’s gonna kill music.” The Beers on Me Tour includes RILEY GREEN and PARKER MCCOLLUM, and they got together for a cover of the Jerry Reed classic “East Bound and Down”.  Think that’s a preview of their encore?

The finish of the Kentucky Derby is in question, after the winner MEDINA SPIRIT failed a drug test. The horse tested positive for betamethasone, a steroid injected into the joints to reduce pain and swelling.  If he fails a second test, he can be stripped of his title, and the runner up, Mandaloun, will be declared the winner. Medina Spirit’s trainer, Bob Baffert, says something doesn’t add up.  Quote, “I was totally shocked when I heard this news.  The last thing I want to do is something that would jeopardize the greatest sport . . .”This is a pretty serious accusation.  We’re going to get to the bottom of it.  We didn’t do it.” Churchill Downs has suspended Baffert from entering other horses there.  The Preakness Stakes goes down this Saturday in Baltimore.  They haven’t decided if they’ll let Medina Spirit run. Horse racing has a pretty serious doping problem . . . and Baffert has faced dozens of allegations over the years.  But Medina Spirit is in jeopardy of becoming only the THIRD horse in the 147-year history of the Kentucky Derby to be stripped of a victory.

Jimmy Kimmel had Chris Stapleton on his show and he absolutely killed it on their “Wing It and Sing It” segment.  Jimmy explained that Chris used to love the show “Full House”, specifically John Stamos. So, the song they had Chris sing was sort of a loving tribute to his “hero”, John Stamos.  He had…
