On last night’s episode of “The Bachelor”, PETER WEBER and some of the ladies did a photo shoot for “Cosmo”, with one of the girls getting chosen for the cover. At the time, they chose VICTORIA FULLER. But yesterday, they announced they’re ditching that cover because of Victoria’s association with WHITE LIVES MATTER. Back in the day, Victoria modeled in a WLM baseball hat. Cosmo says, “Unequivocally, the White Lives Matter movement does not reflect the values of the Cosmo brand. We stand in solidarity with Black Lives Matter, and any cause that fights to end injustices for people of color.” Bachelor Peter Weber is on “Kelly and Ryan” today.
In the latest episode of JUSTIN BIEBER’s YouTube series, he discusses his history with drugs. He says that he first smoked weed when he was 12 or 13, and eventually became “really dependent” on it. Justin also says, “There was a time when I was sipping lean, popping pills, doing Molly, shrooms, everything. My security would come into my room at night to check my pulse. People don’t know how serious it got. It was legit crazy scary. I was waking up in the morning and the first thing I was doing was popping pills and smoking a blunt and starting my day.”
69 year old RUSH LIMBAUGH revealed on his radio show yesterday that he has advanced lung cancer. The diagnosis was confirmed on January 20th. He said, “I thought about not telling anybody. I thought about trying to do this without anybody knowing because I don’t like making things about me. But there are going to be days that I’m not going to be able to be here, because I’m undergoing treatment or I’m reacting to treatment, and I know that would inspire all sorts of curiosity with people wondering what’s going on.” His plan is to do the show every day he’s able. He didn’t say what his prognosis is. Rush was a longtime smoker, but even after he quit cigarettes, he continued to smoke cigars and to defend the tobacco industry and downplay the dangers of smoking.
ASHTON KUTCHER has no problem with DEMI MOORE – even after her recent memoir. But there’s no relationship there, either. He said, “It’s all good, [but] we don’t hang out.” He does keep in touch with Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah, her three daughters with BRUCE WILLIS. “I loved them and I’m never gonna stop loving them and respecting them and honoring them and rooting for them to be successful in whatever they’re pursuing. At the same time, I’m not their father. I was never trying to be their father. I always had respect for Bruce and I think he’s a brilliant human being and a wonderful man.”
Taylor Swift’s documentary, Miss Americana, debuted on Netflix last week — and there’s one particular moment that some fans can’t stop talking about. In the scene where Taylor is explaining why she wants to speak out about politics, she raises her left hand to reveal a large piece of bling on the ring finger. There have long been rumors that Taylor and her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, are engaged — and considering how private they are about their relationship, it wouldn’t be the MOST shocking thing if they were keeping the news under wraps. RILEY GREEN got the Internet all riled-up with a Tweet he made during Sunday’s halftime show. Seems he was annoyed when JENNIFER LOPEZ and SHAKIRA started singing in Spanish. He said, “Great game, but can I get somebody to translate this Super Bowl halftime show so I know what they are singing about?” One person said, “I love your music but it’s sad that you can’t respect people of different cultures.” Another said, “It’s music. It transcends language as you should know, and just as you like to show off your roots so do they. Tasteless tweet.” One person tried to lighten the mood with, “I tried to press ‘one’ for English.” Another tried to shame him with, “I thought you were better than this.” Fellow country star MICKEY GUYTON Tweeted, “I’m at a loss for words. Do better people. Step outside yourself for a second and do better.” However, somebody did try to back him up by writing, “In all honesty, to me, they were singing too fast and you couldn’t make out the words. I truly don’t believe Riley was being disrespectful at all.”
CHARLES KELLEY used to say that he’d never put his kids on social media. And then his little boy Ward came along three years ago and now he can’t stop. “There’s so many moments and you just can’t help yourself. “[It’s] like you’re proud of music, you’re like, ‘I want as many people to have this music as possible.’ And like, I want as many people look at this kid. He is a genius.” The proof is in his Instagram. Ward is everywhere.
