Kevin, Paul and Winnie still hang out more than 25 years after wrapping The Wonder Years. The three actors met for lunch Wednesday and posed for a selfie.  Danica McKellar, who played Winnie in the series, tweeted, “I got to see these guys for lunch yesterday – it was so much fun to catch up and hear how their beautiful families are doing!”

 

CHRIS JANSON said at a recent industry event when someone asked him how he stays so positive. “Never in my life have I ever needed anything more than what I had at the moment. I always felt blessed and right where I was supposed to be.” And that includes those early days in Nashville when he was sleeping in his car.  He said he always felt like I was winning.  “Every day when I wake up, I say I don’t want for anything . . . and I say that with a great peace in my heart, because we’re not really promised walking out of the building and making it to the next destination.”

 

Unfortunately, BRITTANY ALDEAN had some complications after giving birth on Monday. They kept her in the hospital longer than expected because she needed to have a blood transfusion. She revealed some of the details on Instagram . . . along with photos of her swollen feet. She wrote, “When your labor goes amazing . . . but then things go south.  Still [in] hospital living with my trooper of a [husband] and a precious little girl.  One blood transfusion . . . and swollen everything.  #Worth-It”.

 

Turns out BROOKS & DUNN’s “reboot” is a duets album. No word on a release date yet, but two of the tracks are out today.  They are:  “Brand New Man” with LUKE COMBS . . . and “Believe” with KANE BROWN. Other artists on the album include Kacey Musgraves, Thomas Rhett, Ashley McBryde, Midland, Brett Young, Brothers Osborne, Lanco, Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi, and Tyler Booth.

 

83 year old FRANK ROBINSON died of bone cancer yesterday. A legendary baseball player, he became baseball’s first African American manager in 1975.  He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1982.

You don’t even have to be alive to open a restaurant or club in Nashville these days. Johnny Cash’s Kitchen and Saloon is coming to Music City sometime this spring.  It’ll feature “selections from Johnny and June’s handwritten recipes” . . . and it’ll be located next to the Johnny Cash Museum.

 

The action comedy Shaft is the next chapter in the film franchise featuring the coolest private eye on any New York City block. The movie stars Samuel L. Jackson, Regina Hall and Richard Roundtree, the original John Shaft. It’s in theaters in June.
