Garth Brooks Set to Launch Exclusive SiriusXM Channel on Sept. 8

The next step in Garth Brook’s quest for musical world domination is complete: he will be launching an exclusive SiriusXM Channel on Sept. 8.

Yes, America’s best-selling solo artist of all time will launch The Garth Channel, which will feature music from Garth’s extensive catalogue, songs from artists who influenced his career, live concert recordings, behind-the-scenes commentary from Garth, and guest DJ specials hosted by Garth’s fans and friends.

“It’s rare to be handed an opportunity that can grow as big as you can dream,” said Garth in a press release. “That is exactly what SiriusXM has just done. I speak for myself and the entire team when I say we are very grateful for this opportunity and very excited about its potential.”

The Country Music Hall of Famer is currently on the three-year Garth Brooks World Tour with wife Trisha Yearwood.

On July 8 and 9, Garth will return to New York City to play two shows at Yankee Stadium—his first concerts in the Big Apple since his Central Park show in 1997.
