The “Emmys” last night – two moments REALLY stuck out. First, a guy by the name of Glen Weiss won an Emmy for directing the “Oscars”. And during his acceptance speech, he PROPOSED to his fiancée. He actually brought her onstage and gave her his mother’s ring . . . Which was even more poignant because his mother had just DIED two weeks ago. BETTY WHITE was brought out onstage and honored — she’s 96 years old -in great shape for 96, and she produced several moments of genuine comedy but had a little trouble delivering her speech.
PATRICK STEWART will play Bosley in the upcoming “Charlie’s Angels” reboot. But not the only one. There will be multiple Bosleys. Director Elizabeth Banks may also play ‘Bosley.’
ROSEANNE BARR says that “The Conners” is having her character killed off with an opioid overdose, and that it’s “cynical and horrible.” She also accuses the show of trying to push her out BEFORE her racist Tweet.

KELSEA BALLERINI went to TAYLOR SWIFT’s show on Saturday, and then posted a photo of them hanging out backstage. Taylor had just broken the attendance record at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, so Kelsea was honored to be there, “Biggest fan and proudest friend.”
JUSTIN MOORE posted some photos on Saturday of an awesome concert moment. He wrote, “A fan handed me their phone, mid FaceTime with a member of our troops. I had the pleasure of finishing the rest of the song to her, wherever she was stationed. Thank y’all who serve or have served. #Support-Our-Troops”

SHAWN MENDES showed up with injuries on his face when he taped his “CMT Crossroads” with the ZAC BROWN BAND. What happened? He fell off a ride-share scooter. Quote, “I took it face first, ’cause I was like, ‘These hands cannot break. I gotta play guitar with Zac Brown.'” Their episode premieres October 24th.
In an interview with “People”, KATHY MATTEA revealed that she had serious vocal issues four years ago, and had to “retrain” her voice. It was tough work but she didn’t give up. This version of her voice is “more burnished and soulful.” She also debuted the video to a song called “Mercy Now”, which is one of the tracks on her “Pretty Bird” album.
