Some person in Illinois near got a text last month that appeared to be from BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN saying he needed cash . . . and they actually believed it. The text said he needed the money to help cover an “investment in gold he made in Dubai.” And they believed that part too. They ended up sending the scammer $1,100 to cover the Dubai investment. Plus, a $500 iTunes gift card that was supposed to help senior citizens pay off their phone bills. They eventually wised up and called the cops, but not until after they’d transferred all the money. And at that point, there wasn’t much anyone could do.

One of MICHAEL J. FOX’s self-tying shoes from 1989’s “Back to the Future 2” sold on eBay for $92,100. It was the LEFT shoe, and yes, Michael actually wore it in the movie. Obviously, the shoe doesn’t REALLY tie itself . . . the technology wasn’t there in 1989. But in 2016 Nike did produce 89 pairs of LEGIT self-tying shoes. The 1989 movie shoes are basically falling apart at this point . . . but obviously they’re still worth a few bucks.
BEYONCÉ and JAY-Z had their floating stage malfunction after a show in Poland on Saturday. It was about 15 feet in the air, and Beyoncé had to climb down a LADDER to get off of it.
JASON ALDEAN did Taste of Country’s “One Last Question” segment . . . which is several rapid-fire questions. He admitted that his favorite chick flick is “The Notebook” . . . and that he believes in ghosts. Asked about a habit he wishes he could break, he said, “Being on my phone all the time.” They asked for his biggest pet peeve, and he answered, “Dirty dishes laying in the sink.” His go-to late night snack is dill pickles, and the TV show he’d like to do a cameo on is “The Walking Dead”.
SHANIA TWAIN’s first concert was Van Halen. She was 15 years old and had a “huge crush” on Eddie Van Halen.
TYLER FARR cast his wife Hannah to be in his “Love By the Moon” video. Not a huge surprise since she was the inspiration for the song. A lot of it was filmed at their farm.
Looks like Carrie Underwood is inspiring other country singers to grind it out with her personal trainer, Erin Oprea. CARLY PEARCE posted a photo from a workout she did with Erin, Kelsea Ballerini, and Maren Morris. She captioned it, “Lots of country booty kickin’ today.” Maren also posted a pic of the four of them, and wrote, “Turns out [Erin] knows to make us all sweat out our transgressions.”
“CMT Hot 20 Countdown” featured BROTHERS OSBORNE surprising their mom with a house that they bought for her in Nashville. She thought she was doing an interview in some random house to talk about her sons, but then they handed her the keys and told her it’s hers.
