Zach Top has earned his first career Top 10 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with “I Never Lie,” which climbs two spots to reach No. 10 on this week’s ranking. The 27-year-old Sunnyside, Washington native co-authored the tune with the songwriting team of Carson Chamberlain and Tim Nichols. “I Never Lie” is featured on Top’s 2024 record, Cold Beer & Country Music, which recently peaked at No. 6 on the Top Country Albums chart. Top initially gained a following through TikTok, eventually becoming the first artist to sign to Leo 33, a label founded by former Universal Music Group Nashville executives. In addition to his chart success, Top just headlined two sold-out shows at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on February 28 and March 1. Meanwhile, Jelly Roll‘s “Liar” continues its run at No. 1 on the Country Airplay for a third consecutive week. (Billboard)
