The run of shows begins on May 8 in Rochester, New York, and finishes up with a four-night stand at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium on August 8-9 and 15-16. “I left home 50 years ago to try and become an accomplished musician and perform in front of whoever would show up,” Gill said in a press release. “All these years later, it feels as special today as it ever did.” Gill’s tour will showcase an all-star backing band including singing partner Wendy Moten. Most tickets for Gill’s tour go on-sale on Friday (February 21). (Taste of Country)
