Thomas Rhett made his historic headlining debut at Fenway Park on Saturday night (July 19) as part of his Better in Boots Tour, with the country superstar showcasing a blend of chart-topping hits and emotional moments to thrill the sold-out crowd of over 35,000 fans. Supporting Rhett on this momentous occasion were special guests Teddy Swims, Tucker Wetmore, and The Castellows, with Swims later joining Rhett for their soulful duet, “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Woman.” Rhett was also surprised when RIAA Chairman & CEO Mitch Glazier joined him on stage with a crystal statuette and official plaque commemorating his 2015 smash, “Die A Happy Man,” reaching Diamond status. Rhett’s hit is now one of only 15 country songs to ever reach Diamond certification, which is in recognition of a track selling over 10 million units. “Since day one of my career I have dreamed of this moment,” Rhett wrote on Instagram after the show. “I’m so grateful for how much support yall have shown me for over 15 years.” (All Country News)
