Runaway June Share New Holiday Single ‘Cowboy For Christmas’

Country trio Runaway June recently shared a new holiday single, “Cowboy For Christmas.”

The track was written by Runaway June members Jennifer Wayne, Natalie Stovall, and Stevie Woodward, along with writer and producer Paul Sikes.

“I’ve got that wide open range / I’ve got a winter wonderland view / I got some horses in the stable / Twinkling lights on the roof / Dear Santa, bring me a cowboy for Christmas,” go the lyrics.

“We are so excited about our new Christmas song,” Wayne said. “I’ve had this idea stirring around in my head since we released our Christmas album a few years ago and was just waiting for the right time and right people to write it with.”

She added, “There is such a beauty and romance in the American West, and we wanted to capture that imagery combined with Christmas spirit.”
