Morgan Wallen has just notched his record-setting 174th total week at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, which breaks Garth Brooks’ long standing mark of 173 total weeks at the top spot. Wallen’s impressive achievement comes after his 7x-platinum 2023 album, One Thing At A Time, reclaims the No. 1 spot for a remarkable 75th week. That figure doesn’t come close to the 97 weeks spent at No. 1 by Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album, which holds the record for most time at the top spot in the chart’s 61-year history. Remarkably, Wallen managed to set the record for total weeks at No.1 in less than five years, dating back to when he first ruled the Billboard Top Country Albums chart back in August of 2020, with his 2018 record, If I Know Me. With Wallen set to release his highly-anticipated new album, I’m The Problem, in the coming months, his record is sure to only grow. (Holler)
