Mary Chapin Carpenter and Brandy Clark are embarking on a joint tour this summer. The 42-date run starts on June 9 in Portland, and includes stops in Seattle, Los Angeles, Denver, Toronto, and  New York, with a special show scheduled at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium on October 2, before coming to a close on October 11 in Minneapolis. Carpenter is one of only 15 female members of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, and is a five-time Grammy winner, while taking home two CMA Awards and two ACM Awards during her illustrious career. Clark won Best Americana Performance at the 66th Grammy Awards and Song of the Year at the 2024 Americana Honors & Awards with her song, “Dear Insecurity,” featuring Brandi Carlile, while also composing music for the Tony Award-winning musical Shucked. Pre-sale tickets for the tour are available from February 11, followed by general ticket sales beginning on February 14. (Music Row)
