Lady A singer Hillary Scott has welcomed her fourth child, a daughter named Selah Jean, with her husband Chris Tyrrell. The baby girl was born on July 25, 2025, and joins her three older sisters, Eisele Kaye, 12, and Emory JoAnn and Betsy Mack, 7. In a statement to PEOPLE, the couple expressed their joy, saying, “We are over the moon to introduce you to Selah Jean! She has filled our hearts with joy and her sisters are already the BEST helpers.” They also explained the meaning behind Selah’s name, noting that it means “pause and reflect” and “God is gracious.” Scott had announced her pregnancy in February, sharing a photo of her three daughters’ wrists featuring friendship bracelets that read “big sister.” The singer expressed her gratitude for being entrusted with a household of “little ladies” and her husband’s role as an exceptional “girl dad.” (People)
