On Tuesday (June 3), ERNEST hosted Stars for Second Harvest at the Ryman Auditorium, a memorable evening of music and charity that celebrated Nashville’s songwriting royalty while supporting a worthy cause. The intimate benefit concert featured a songwriter’s round where ERNEST welcomed Ashley Gorley, Rivers Rutherford, and Brad and Brett Warren to join the stage with him. The event showcased a blend of traditional and contemporary country music styles, as the performers shared heartfelt stories and stripped-back songs. Zach Top paid homage to country music legend Merle Haggard during his set, delivering a stirring cover of “Fever” and a duet with ERNEST on “Yesterday’s Wine,” which ended the night with some classic honky tonk flavor. The shared mission of the show was to raise funds for Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, with the annual benefit show again bringing people together with music in order to support a greater cause.
