A third-grade teacher in Maine caught Luke Combs’ attention when she posted that her students listen to his music to help them focus during their writing time, with a clip of them singing “Days Like These”. Luke sent them a signed record of “The Way I Am” and a record player for them to play it on.
Travis Kelce shared an embarrassing story about how he once mistook THE Jimmy Buffett for business mogul Warren Buffett at a music festival. He said he had too much to drink, and was told that “Buffett” wanted to meet him. “He tells me a story from high school (about) how he picked up the guitar for the first time. I said, ‘No way, Warren Buffett played the guitar?’ And his face went from smiling from ear to ear to not smiling at all. “And then he got tapped on the shoulder because he had to sing ‘Margaritaville’.”
Kurt Russell knows why Taylor Sheridan’s shows like “Yellowstone” and “The Madison” are so popular. He says they connect with, quote, “the silent majority”. He says, “You keep finding yourself saying, ‘I know that moment,’ or ‘I know those people.'” Kurt also classifies “The Madison” as more of an adult-themed show because, quote, “You can’t really appreciate [the story] until you have something like that happen to you at a certain time in your life.”
Collin Gosselin is set to expose “the shocking facade of his picture-perfect family” in a bombshell memoir this fall. Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin’s son’s tell-all, “In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood,” will hit bookshelves on Oct. 13. The book’s description promises to share the “never-before-told story of how [Collin] escaped and found his way back from the dark – the dark side of fame: the systems, the entourage, and the institutions that allowed one boy to be erased.” The 22-year-old will revisit “being held down, the basement cell where he was hidden for years and the cocktail of powerful antipsychotics forced on an 11-year-old boy.” The announcement also teased a “Christmas morning where the gifts were reclaimed as soon as the cameras went down.” In addition to Collin, Kate and Jon are the parents of his sextuplet siblings — Aaden, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah — and 25-year-old twins Cara and Madelyn. After Jon and Kate divorced, Jon was granted sole custody of Collin, with Hannah later moving in with her dad as well.
