Kenny Chesney’s latest single, “Carry On”, just became his 100th song to land on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. He is now tied for the most of all-time with George Strait. The rest of the Top Five are Garth Brooks with 93 . . . Tim McGraw with 91 . . . and Alan Jackson with 82. Kenny also holds the record for the most #1s on the Country Airplay chart with 33. This is also his first release on Hey Now Records, which is a label that was launched earlier this year. And “Carry On” will be the first single on his upcoming 21st album . . . which he says will be out sometime this year.
A 99-year-old woman just set the Guinness World Record for the oldest person ever to crowd surf. And she did it during Brantley Gilbert’s set at the Rock the Country festival in Texas. Online she’s known as “Gangster Granny” . . . and she’s already well-known for her pranks.
