Before Luke Combs made it big, he spent his last $200 in his bank account to master his song “Hurricane”. At the time, he’d recorded multiple songs, but could only afford to master one. “So I decided to do “Hurricane”, put it out and it sells 10,000 copies the first week.”Luke was able to use the money he earned from that to master the rest of his songs, and pitch the completed album to record labels . . . and the rest is history.

Five years after his exit from “The Bachelor”, original host Chris Harrison is back with a new dating show for people seeking a “traditional” marriage. What that means isn’t totally clear, but he says in an Instagram post that the show is seeking contestants who, “want a traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values. He adds, quote, “We’re looking for singles who believe in clear roles, long-term commitment and building a life together, and who are dating with real intention.” He also says the show will be on a “prominent streaming service,” which he does not name. The comments section is full of people who are a little suspicious of the wording. One woman said, quote, “I’m sorry this is giving MAGA.” Others are asking for a definition of the “clear roles” he mentioned. Plenty of other people are psyched for this, and for the exact same reasons that others are not: Because they think it’ll be conservative and non-woke. Harrison was pushed out of “The Bachelor” in 2021, after he defended a contestant who was getting backlash for attending an antebellum-style college party.
