Yesterday, Eric Church, Morgan Wallen, Hardy, and Tim McGraw all posted cryptic images on Instagram. None of them had captions . . . and they all resembled tombstones, with names and dates tied to a “McArthur” family. Eric’s said: “Junior McArthur born September 2nd, 1945, died April 4th, 1967.” Hardy’s said: “Jones McArthur born June 5th, 1968, died January 5th, 2025.” Tim’s said: “John McArthur born November 2nd, 1920, died November 22nd, 1963.” And Morgan posted to his story, “Hunter McArthur May 13th, 1993.” Fans were quick to notice that Tim’s character dies the same day as JFK. Does that mean anything? And Morgan’s the only one still alive? Plus, the date Morgan used is his birthday in real life, too. Basically, what is going on? Most people are guessing that they’re dropping a new song soon.
Zach Top realized a childhood dream on Sunday when he sang the National Anthem at the NFC Championship Game in Seattle. Zach is a proud Washington native. So, when he came out on the field in a Seahawks jersey, it was a surreal and full-circle moment for him. And here’s the best part, he sang the Anthem a cappella. No vocal gymnastics. No backing track. And it sounded great. To top it all off, fellow Washington native Tucker Wetmore sang the halftime show. And the Seahawks beat the Rams 31 to 27 . . . so it was a good night had by all.
The judges from “American Idol” stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and Carrie Underwood shared some disappointing news for her fans. Near the end of the interview, Jimmy asked Carrie, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie about their tour plans for 2026. Luke already has dates on the books . . . and Lionel teased something big coming. Then Jimmy turned to Carrie and asked, “No tour?” And she said, “No. Nah.” She then laughed and said, “I’ll go see them.” That was it. No explanation. Carrie has no new album announced, so it makes sense
George Strait just announced two new shows. And they’ll both be at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas on April 9th and April 11th. Instead of rolling out a full tour, George continues to drop new dates one or two at a time. First it was Clemson, South Carolina. Then Lubbock, Texas. Now it’s Austin. And William Beckmann will be opening both of the Austin shows. Presale has already begun . . . and general tickets go on sale this Friday. And, if history is any warning, these tickets will not last long.
Taylor Swift is reportedly fuming over the release of her private texts with Blake Lively since being dragged into the actress’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni. Having her texts out there made her feel exposed and kind of violated, like, something private suddenly wasn’t hers anymore.
Don’t worry, y’all! The Kelly Clarkson Show isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. A representative for the daytime talk show confirms that — despite a recent wave of online speculation — there are no plans for the series to wrap at the end of its current seventh season.
