Thanksgiving is right around the corner. What food item are you looking forward to the most? Here is what your favorite country stars are most excited about:
- Alan Jackson said, “My favorite Thanksgiving dish would be the homemade dressing, cornbread-based dressing that we always have with turkey.”
- Cody Johnson said, “I’m gonna clean you out of the banana pudding . . . and all the pie . . . and the good stuff, cobbler [too].”
- Dierks Bentley is focused on the meat. He said, “You gotta have a big turkey.”
- Ashley McBryde says, “Hands down, mashed potatoes.”
- Brett Young says, “It’s my mom’s homemade gravy.”
- Sam Hunt said his first plate is mostly turkey. But, “I’ll usually go ahead and grab my dessert on the first run.”
- Parker McCollum loves his aunt’s creamed corn.
- Jordan Davis’ favorite Thanksgiving dish is macaroni and cheese . . . but he loves it “anytime.”
- And Bailey Zimmerman said, “It’s got to be either cheesy potatoes or broccoli casserole.”
Luke Combs was on the Manningcast on “Monday Night Football”. Before he came on, he filled out a football self-evaluation form. And Eli Manning was surprised how bad the evaluation was. For “skill level” Luke wrote “I suck” . . . For “athleticism” he wrote “I’m not” . . . and for “intelligence” he wrote “not very.” Eli said, “It’s a pretty tough evaluation there Luke, but you were on the team . . . so what was something good about your game?” And Luke said, “Probably that I didn’t play very much. That was the best thing about my game, is that I wasn’t in. So, we won a decent amount of games with no help from me.”
The 2025 CMA Awards pulled in 6.04 million viewers on ABC last week. That’s an all-time low. For some perspective, the show had 16.1 million viewers in 2014 . . . and hit a low of 6.1 million last year. Most people thought the show itself was solid with some strong performances. But the big story was about who wasn’t there. Morgan Wallen skipped again. Jelly Roll wasn’t there. And there was no Eric Church, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and many more.
Dick Van Dyke did an exclusive interview with “People” magazine for his upcoming 100th birthday.
