Ariana Grande hinted at another “Wicked” movie at a recent panel discussion
with the cast. Quote, “If we’ve learned anything from Cher, we can count on
there always being another farewell tour.”
Conan O’Brien came in second in a poll to determine the greatest late night
hosts of all time, behind Johnny Carson. David Letterman came in third. Jay
Leno finished all the way back at #22.
Cher will be the musical guest on the December 20th episode of “Saturday
Night Live”. It’ll be just her second time. The first was in 1987. Ariana Grande
will be the host that night.
Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner are embarking on a co-headlining tour of
North America next summer. But neither band has a single original or classic
member left.
Lainey Wilson is heading into one of the biggest weeks of her life. She’s hosting the CMA Awards solo for the first time ever, and she’s also one of this year’s top nominees with six nods. Lainey said growing up that her family watched the CMAs the way some families watch the Super Bowl. It was a full family event. So, she also knows how rare this solo female hosting gig is. Only Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire have done it before her. The last one to do it was Reba in 1991. So, Lainey admitted that she texted Reba for advice. And she expected a quick tip, but instead, Reba sent a whole list. Lainey admitted that she’s got some big shoes to fill. But you can tell she’s not letting the moment get too big for her. Blake Shelton and Keith Urban have come a long way since their early days in show business. They both have had some crazy looks in the past. So, when they were promoting their new reality series “The Road” on CBS . . . they took some time to rip on each other’s past looks. Blake held up a shot of Keith with long, straight, chest length blonde hair and asks if he wants to explain himself. And Keith joked that he still could not figure out why no one would sign him back then. Keith then flips to one of Blake’s early glam shots. He tells Blake he looks like the Unabomber . . . with a little bit of Charles Manson. That got a huge laugh from Blake, who admitted the perm was from his Terri Clark phase. And he’s not kidding. Terri once said fans actually mistook Blake for her. He cut his hair soon after. Keith eventually joked that the real miracle is that they were ever signed at all.
Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley just posted a hilarious video. It started out as a simple lip gloss check. But that quickly turned into a full purse dump. And by the end, they realized they share a lot of the same habits. First, they both pulled out all kinds of different lip glosses and chapsticks . . . they both had like seven each. But the funniest part was when Miranda pulled out a pack of Zyns. And then Ella cracked up when she found a Zyn pack of her own . . . But then Miranda pulled out two more.
