Darius Rucker just complained about how bad his fantasy football teams are doing. Darius revealed that he’s playing in five leagues this year, and somehow he managed to go 0-5 during week one. He said, “How do you go 0-5? That’s not mathematically possible!” The good news for Darius is there’s plenty of season left. Hopefully his teams pull it together.
Dolly Parton – the queen of country music, but she’s also a queen of late-night taco runs. Dolly admitted her go-to order at Taco Bell is a Taco Supreme with a soft shell. She said, “I like the others, but they fall apart so bad, especially if you’re riding around.” The rest of her order is a side of rice and beans, with mild sauce . . . and she loves the Mexican Pizzas, too. The Mexican Pizza was removed from the menu in 2020 but made its return in 2022. That’s when Dolly joined Doja Cat in “Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza: The Musical”? Dolly does have one critique of the Mexican Pizza though. She said, “I’d just make them bigger so I could have more of it!”
Morgan Wallen’s Sand in My Boots Festival left fans wanting more after its Gulf Shores debut this past May . . . is it coming back in 2026. It was such a success last year, that everyone assumed it would be back. It sold out in under two hours and pulled in a lineup featuring Post Malone . . . Brooks & Dunn . . . Hardy . . . Riley Green . . . and even T-Pain. Gulf Shores city leaders even praised the big crowds . . .saying they were more disciplined than past festivals. So, what about next year then? Fans got excited when the festival’s online shop page briefly read “Coming Soon” and “See You in 2026.” But just as quickly, the wording changed to “Coming Soon! See you next time.” Now everyone is trying to guess whether that’s a cover-up before an official announcement . . . or a hint that 2026 isn’t happening anymore. Hopefully we find out more about it soon.
At one of Eric Church’s recent tour stops, he was telling the crowd why his shows are never routine. So, instead of saving “Springsteen” for the encore . . . which he almost always does . . . Eric played it halfway through the set. But before singing it, he told a story from his days touring with Kenny Chesney back in 2013. Eric told Kenny he was going to play his most popular song FIRST. So, he opened with “Springsteen”.
Disney has greenlit “Camp Rock 3”. The Jonas Brothers will star, and Demi Lovato is producing . . . but there’s no word if she’ll be in it.
Seth Rogen is bringing back “The Muppet Show” as a Disney+ special next year, featuring Sabrina Carpenter.
Bill Belichick’s girlfriend Jordon Hudson was reportedly in talks to do “Dancing with the Stars”, but she wanted too much control.
