The 59th Annual CMA Awards go down on November 19th on ABC.
Ever since MTV launched the Video Music Awards in 1984, the show has traditionally leaned pop, hip-hop, and R&B . . . while country music videos found their home on CMT. Kane Brown cracked the door open in 2022 when he became the first male country artist to perform at the VMAs. And this year, country music was well represented when Jelly Roll and Post Malone lit up the stage with their duet “Losers”. They delivered their performance live from Hanover, Germany, where they’re currently on tour. Jelly had four nominations on the night and Posty had one. Neither of them won, but at least they got to sing a song called “Losers”.
“Saturday Night Live” returns October 4th for Season 51, and we finally know who is coming back. The cast will include Kenan Thompson, Chloe Fineman, Bowen Yang, Ego Nwodim, Mikey Day, Marcello Hernandez, and Sarah Sherman. Michael Che and Colin Jost will also return to host Weekend Update.
Bunnie Xo is a brave lady. She decided to answer every wild internet rumor about herself . . . while hooked up to a lie detector. In the viral video, Jelly Roll’s wife wasted no time going straight into the juiciest questions. Was she in an open relationship? A swinger? Hand-picking fans from Jelly’s shows to go backstage? Every answer was “No.” She also denied having sugar daddies, plastic surgery on her face, and being part of the Illuminati. The test administrator sealed it at the end . . . He said, “It is my professional opinion that Bunnie has been truthful.” Her closing words? “I told you.”
Megan Moroney just made it clear . . . she’s single. So, I guess that cements her relationship status. Fans once thought she was dating Riley Green after they were spotted together in the Caribbean and back in his Alabama hometown. But when a fan showed up to her show in a Riley T-shirt, Megan mouthed from the stage: “He [effed] up.” Which means that’s the end of that story. Not that it matters, though. Because Megan was a big winner on the night. She performed “6 Months Later” . . . and became the first-ever Best Country winner at the VMAs with “Am I Okay?”
