Morgan Wallen’s team has confirmed their decision not to submit his No. 1 album, I’m the Problem, any of its 37 songs, or Wallen himself for consideration at the 2026 Grammy Awards, marking a rare move by a major artist who feels overlooked by the Recording Academy. Despite Wallen’s resounding commercial success, including multiple chart-topping singles and a historic run atop the Billboard 200, he has never received a solo Grammy nomination, only getting two nods for his hit collaboration with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help.” This decision follows similar choices by artists like The Weeknd and Drake, who both boycotted the Grammys after feeling under-recognized. Wallen’s action excludes his submissions, but does allow other songwriters from the album to enter their works, and nominations could still occur through collaborators, like his No. 1 hit, “What I Want,” featuring Tate McRae.
