During an appearance on the Today Show on Friday (July 25), Zac Brown revealed that he recently proposed to jewelry designer Kendra Scott on July 24. The country musician joked about the challenge of choosing the perfect ring for someone who creates jewelry, disclosing that he ultimately surprised her with a large pink diamond during a sunset proposal on a pier. “It’s incredible.. So happy,” Brown said of the engagement. “We’re so happy we found each other and we’re blessed. It just adds so much energy to everything else. More to give to music, more to give to our families and everything, so we’re blessed.” Scott was on hand to support her new fiancé during his Today Show performance, commenting on Brown’s Instagram post that captured the event, “Such an amazing day! 🙌👏❤️.” The couple publicly debuted their relationship at the American Music Awards in May, after Brown and Scott – both parents with a combined eight children – first met through a mutual friend earlier this year.
