Halle Berry was named after a department store.  She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and her mom loved a department store there called Halle’s.

Blake Shelton announced that the next season of “The Voice” will be his last.  He’s been a coach since Season One, which premiered in 2011.  Season 23 will also include new coaches Chance the Rapper and One Direction member Niall Horan, and the return of Kelly Clarkson.

CMT’s 2022 “Artists of the Year” special will include performances from Alan Jackson, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, and Walker Hayes.  Presenters include Dan + Shay, Chris Stapleton, and Dustin Lynch.  Dale Earnhardt Jr. will appear remotely to present to Luke Combs.  It airs Friday at 9:00 p.m. Eastern on CMT.

There’s going to be a tribute concert to celebrate what would’ve been the 75th birthday of Allman Brothers Band member Gregg Allman.  It takes place December 8th in New York and tickets go on sale Friday.  The lineup includes Brothers Osbourne, Old Dominion, and Lady A singer Charles Kelley.

There’s a country singer named Megan Stout from Kentucky who jokes that shemoonlights as a 9-1-1 dispatcher.  She’s released four songs that she recorded in Nashville.

Riley Green shared an acoustic cover of Brooks & Dunn’s “She Used to Be Mine”.

Darci Lynne Farmer is 18.  Ventriloquist / singer who won “America’s Got Talent” when she was 12.  Here she is singing for “Ellen” over the summer.

Josh Hutcherson is 30.  Peeta in “The Hunger Games”,

Kirk Cameron is 52.  Mike Seaver on “Growing Pains”.

Martie Maguire is 53.  The (Dixie) Chicks and Court Yard Hounds.

Hugh Jackman is 54.  Is he appreciated more as Wolverine or for his musicals?
