There’s a petition asking that JAMES CORDEN not be cast in the upcoming movie version of “Wicked”. Apparently, America is tired of seeing him in every musical. As of last night, the petition had more than 60,000 signatures.
You don’t have to officially release music to have it go viral. Last month MORGAN WALLEN shared a clip of a song called “Broadway Girls”, and it inspired a social media trend on TikTok and Instagram. It’s about a girl he met at Jason Aldean’s Bar, which is on Broadway in Nashville. People started posting clips and pics of themselves dancing or hanging out on Broadway as the song plays in the background. That turned into people posting all kinds of related stuff. Some girls shared clips of themselves just mimicking the lyrics. One female singer did her own “Broadway Boys” version. Even T-Rex got into the action. There are haters, of course. Some fans think it sounds more Post Malone, than Morgan Wallen. They should relax, it’s a good song. No word if Morgan is planning to release it.
