Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will formally step down as senior royals next month. The agreement reached between the Queen and the couple last month will be put into effect starting March 31. Starting April 1, Harry and Meghan will no longer hold an office at Buckingham Palace. They will be spending their time in both the United Kingdom and North America. Their cause related work will remain unchanged.

Disney is reportedly going to reboot “Planet of the Apes”. It started off as a novel in 1963. The CLASSIC movie version starring CHARLTON HESTON was released in 1968, and was followed by four sequels. It was also spun off into a TV series and a cartoon. TIM BURTON remade it in 2001. More recently, there was a three-movie prequel series, starting with “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” in 2011. The last one came out in 2017.

Colin Jost has become famous by delivering fake news on the “Weekend Update” segment on “Saturday Night Live.” But he may be poised to deliver real headlines about his future. Jost’s new memoir, “A Very Punchable Face,” is due out April 14. In book, Jost mulls the possibility that he may leave “SNL,” where he has held forth for 15 years as a writer, head writer and member of the show’s cast. It’s possible that may change before the book’s final publication date, but he says he is “preparing mentally” to leave the program sometime in the near future, suggesting he would like to continue co-anchoring “Weekend Update”at least through the 2020 election. Some cast changes can affect the program; the departures of Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg in 2012, followed by Jason Sudeikis several months later, deprived “SNL” of some popular faces. Jost is in the midst of his second stint as a head writer at the show, where he has worked since graduating Harvard University in 2005.
This spring, ABC turns up the romance with the premiere of the all-new Bachelor Nation series, The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart, which unites two of the most emotionally powerful forces: music and love, as 20 single men and women try to find love through music. They will meet and explore their relationships while living together and going on Bachelor-style dates that focus on music. The harmony of the couples will be tested through musical challenges, including live performances judged by some of the biggest names in the music business. It’ll be their first time working together since “Anchorman 2” in 2013. “The Shrink Next Door” is based on the true story of the bizarre relationship between a psychiatrist to the stars and his longtime patient. Will is the patient, and Paul is the doctor.
