ROSEANNE BARR didn’t only get herself fired . . . everyone connected with her show is out of work. Although, several of them were going to quit themselves.
WANDA SYKES was working as a writer, consultant and producer on the show. But as soon as she saw the Tweet, she said she would not be returning . . . which obviously became a moot point.
SARA GILBERT (Darlene) also denounced Roseanne before the show was canceled. She said, “Roseanne’s comments [are] abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show. I’m disappointed in her actions to say the least. This is incredibly sad and difficult for all of us. “We’ve created a show that we believe in, are proud of, and that audiences love . . . one that’s separate and apart from the opinions and words of one cast member.”
JOHN GOODMAN hasn’t commented, but he was spotted walking his dog in New Orleans, and looking . . not terribly jovial.
EMMA KENNEY (Darlene’s daughter Harris) called her manager to quit the show, and that’s when she was told that ABC was already shutting it down. Emma praised ABC for, “standing up against abuse of power and lack of values,” and added, “bullies do not win. Ever.”
MICHAEL FISHMAN (D.J.) called Roseanne’s comments “reprehensible and intolerable.” He added, “In this moment it is important to be clear. We must stand-up against bias, hatred, bigotry, and ignorance to make society a better place for all.”
A “Bachelorette” contestant named GARRETT YRIGOYEN has been called out for some questionable social media activity. A former “Bachelorette” named ASHLEY SPIVEY posted screenshots of Garrett “liking” memes that mock trans people, feminists, illegal immigrants, and Parkland, Florida shooting survivor DAVID HOGG. The new season premiered on Monday, and Garrett is already a frontrunner. He secured the first and only kiss from BECCA KUFRIN, and also snagged the “first impression” rose. The last three guys to get that have gone on to win.
This is a question for the ladies. Do you prefer listening to male singers or female singers? People have been telling CAM that women don’t like to hear songs by female artists. She says, “They’ll tell me that women like to listen to men sing because we like to believe that they’re our boyfriend.” Fortunately, Cam’s smart enough to see through it. She said, “I think our entire culture [has] subliminal ways that keep reminding women that they’re less valuable . . . their stories are less valuable, their time is less valuable, that they shouldn’t get paid as much. It’s all hidden and I think we need to open our minds a little bit more to be able to recognize it. I think women feel it but don’t even know how to name it.”
MIKE ELI was recently talking about ELI YOUNG BAND’s single “Love Ain’t”. He said it’s one of those songs that called to them immediately. “There are those moments where you have a feeling when you hear a song and you know right away, and this was one of those. That doesn’t always happen. [This] is definitely a get to the chorus and you have a gut feeling it’s the one.”

MORGAN FREEMAN is demanding a retraction and an apology from CNN. Meanwhile ANNE HATHAWAY says she’s had bad experiences with sexual misconduct.
Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Dan + Shay, Carrie Underwood, and Backstreet Boys, have been added to the performer’s list at next month’s “CMT Music Awards”. LITTLE BIG TOWN are the hosts, and they’re also going to perform. Little Big Town released the video of their remake of Elton John’s “Rocket Man”.
SAM HUNT debuted a new song called “Nothing Lasts Forever” during his show at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway last weekend.
