Ella Langley’s song “Choosin’ Texas” keeps rewriting the record books. It just spent its 21st week at #1 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart. This breaks a tie with Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ hit “Old Town Road” to become the second-longest-running #1 in chart history. Now the ONLY song still ahead of Ella is Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” . . . which has 26 weeks at #1.
Dierks Bentley and Carrie Underwood’s husband, Mike Fisher, play in a hockey league together in Nashville. Instead of competing for the Stanley Cup, they’re playing for the Stanley Keg. Howie even wrote a new song about it called “Beer League” . . . and it’ll be released this Friday.
Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, welcomed their first child. The baby’s name, gender, and date of birth, haven’t been revealed yet. The new family of three was seen in Northern California, with Gaga carrying the baby in a wrap on her chest. A source says that Gaga and Michael, “both beam when they talk about being parents . . Michael seems lighter, happier . . . [they] both took time off of work this summer to be with [the] baby.” Gaga and Michael have been engaged since March of 2024.
