Dolly Parton canceled her appearance at Dollywood on Friday due to ongoing health issues. She was supposed to attend the opening of the NightFlight Expedition ride. The president of Dollywood shared a pre-recorded video from Dolly. She says, “Sometimes, I get a little dizzy and I get dehydrated . . . so, my Nashville doctor has kinda clipped my wings, saying, ‘You ain’t traveling this week.’ . . .But I like to keep all of you in the loop, like I said I would, on everything . . . You have fun, and I’m gonna see you down the road.”
Carly Pearce brought a fan onstage for a duet at her show on Friday in New Hampshire. She spotted him holding a sign calling her “Carly Fierce”, and called him up to sing “My Place”. She shared a clip of the performance and said, “Well . . . the bar has officially been set.”
