Kid Rock has respond to people saying that his Turning Point USA halftime performance was lip synched.He said, “It was out of sync,” and then explained his DJ was filling in vocal parts off camera while he jumped around the stage. He said the problem showed up even in rehearsal edits and blamed a difficult production process, not lip syncing. He also put up a video on Instagram with his DJ explaining the process. He said he hopes this puts the rumors to rest.
Riley Green said he has never actually celebrated Valentine’s Day with a girlfriend. “I’m definitely a procrastinator when it comes to any holidays.” He even joked that many of his Christmas gifts end up wrapped in newspaper. As for Valentine’s Day, Riley said if he ever does have a date, it would likely involve “a last-minute type of flower from the grocery store type situation.”
Post Malone hit the stage last weekend for a free Bud Light Super Bowl show and quickly realized something was off. At first, Post joked that Dallas Cowboys fans deserved free beer. Then a fan told him the drinks were expensive. That is when Post stopped laughing. Post said, “$14 for a beer? That’s absolutely unacceptable at a Bud Light show.” He tried to fix it on the spot, telling the crowd he would cover part of the tab. He dropped beers to $7, then $5, then even joked about $3 beers for Cowboys fans only. But in reality, bartenders just kept charging full price. Fans shrugged it off and still enjoyed the show, but at least everyone’s in agreement . . . $14 is way too much for a beer.
Tim McGraw recently opened up and got real about his past. He said fame, money, and success pushed him into heavy drinking and drugs early in his career. Tim says, “I was drinking a lot. I was just doing everything. I was a kid in a candy store.” But when Faith Hill came into his life, “She started tapping the brakes for me.” Tim believes if he hadn’t met Faith, his career would have burned out fast and he wouldn’t be the artist he is today. He adds, “Once I met her, I didn’t want to lose her. She’s magic.” Tim and Faith married in 1996 and will celebrate 30 years together later this year.
Netflix is filming the Broadway show “Stranger Things: The First Shadow” for an eventual streaming release.
