She was sitting on a couch when a bagpiper walked into the room and suddenly started playing “Happy Birthday.” Dolly laughed, and said, “Wow! This is from Bono.” After the bagpiper was done, Dolly looked at him and said, “Well, that’s a surprise. Are you calling me an old bag?” The bagpiper quickly replied, “In no way at all. You’re looking fantastic.” Dolly posted the moment on her Instagram. The caption read, “Now that’s what you call a surprise! This old bag sure feels the love!”
After teasing that a full album is coming this year, fans noticed a countdown appear on Ella Langley’s website once they signed up for updates. The clock is ticking now . . . and it’s set to go off on Tuesday. This is coming off the heels of her new song “Choosin’ Texas” reaching #1 on the Hot Country Songs chart. Ella thanked fans this week, saying, “Every. Single. Day. Y’all are blowing me away with your love for this song.” Luke Combs just had a countdown clock on his website and at the end of it, he announced a new album. Does Ella have a new album coming, too?
Earnest said Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s smash-hit “I Had Some Help” took just 24 minutes to write. The song debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for six weeks. Ernest said, “If we’re all honest with ourselves and we’re all good creatives, the best songs don’t take long. There’s a 24-minute voice note of ‘I Had Some Help’ from start to finish.” That same night, Morgan and Post recorded their parts on the demo. And then on their way to the bar, they drove around blasting it. He said they knew immediately they had something special.
William Shatner went viral the other day for eating cereal behind the wheel. But it turns out . . . it was all for Kellogg’s Super Bowl commercial. He took a few publicity photos at different locations, including the behind the wheel shot, which he says is one of the silliest photos he’s ever taken.Shatner says the actual commercial will be him inside a spaceship. A few other Super Bowl commercials we can expect to see: Post Malone, Shane Gillis, and Peyton Manning are returning as the “Big Men on the Cul-de-Sac” for Bud Light. Instead of a neighborhood block party, they’re on their way to a wedding with a keg of Bud Light.
Phil Collins turns 75 on January 30th, and he shared his ongoing health struggles in a new interview. “I have a 24-hour live-in nurse to make sure I take my medication as I should do . . . I had everything that could go wrong with me did go wrong with me. I got COVID in hospital, my kidneys started to back up, you know, “Everything that started that could, all seemed to converge at the same time. I had five operations on my knee now, I’ve got a knee that works and I can walk, albeit with assistance, you know, crutches or whatever.” Phil is optimistic that he’ll be able to release new music. “I’ve got some things that are half formed or were never finished, and a couple of things that were finished, which I like, so you know, maybe life in the old dog.” As you know, Phil sustained a spinal injury in 2007. The damaged vertebrae in his upper neck caused lasting nerve damage that makes him unable to hold a drumstick.
The “Legally Blonde” prequel series “Elle” has already been renewed for a second season, even though the first season doesn’t premiere until July.
