Andy Dick suffered an apparent overdose on Tuesday . . . right out in the open, on a set of concrete steps outside a building in Hollywood. And TMZ got video. In the clip, some friends are trying to help Andy, and it appears that someone administers Narcan. Paramedics eventually showed up, and they say Dick was NOT taken to the hospital. TMZ actually met with Andy at his apartment yesterday . . . and he was WASTED . . . but alive. He explained that Tuesday’s incident occurred because he smoked CRACK with some guy he just met. Andy is 59, and he’s been in and out of rehab . . . and jail . . . about a million times over the years.
Billboard’s Year End charts include Taylor Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” as the Album of the Year, Morgan Wallen as the Artist of the Year, and Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die with a Smile” as the Hot 100 Song of the Year.
Jelly Roll just fulfilled a lifelong dream. Yesterday, Craig Morgan invited him to join the Grand Ole Opry. And it all happened on “The Joe Rogan Experience”. Joe played Jelly a clip from one of his past Opry performances. Jelly called it “the most special night of my life.” He talked about how Craig’s song “Almost Home” helped him while he was in jail. Then a video popped up of Craig thanking Jelly for making a “positive difference” and he said the words every country artist dreams of . . . Craig said, “Jelly Roll, you’re officially invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry.” Jelly broke down crying. After a while, he tossed off his headphones and asked for a hug with Joe. Jelly said he once bought Opry tickets just to see Craig sing “Almost Home”. . . And now Craig was the first to announce that he’s joining the family. Congratulations to Jelly Roll on this amazing honor
Morgan Wallen was just named Billboard’s Top Artist of 2025, and the internet is losing its mind. But the numbers don’t lie. His album “I’m The Problem” is a monster. It was the most listened to album on Apple Music worldwide this year . . . #1 on Spotify in the U.S. . . . and Billboard’s Top Country Album. When it dropped, Morgan charted 37 songs on the Hot 100 in a single week. He’s also the first country artist to hit #1 since Taylor Swift back in 2009 . . . and only the second male country act ever to do it since Garth Brooks. Of course, not everyone is thrilled. His past controversies always spark outrage. Somebody online said, “I don’t know a single person that listens to Morgan Wallen.” Well, he beat T Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Kendrick Lamar this year . . . So, maybe it’s time they get acquainted.
Trisha Yearwood is all about the holidays, and she’s sharing the traditions that make this season her favorite. Trisha married Garth Brooks on December 10th in 2005, so December is one long celebration in their house. She said that since Garth’s kids were little when they married, the whole family agreed on one rule. They don’t decorate the Christmas tree unless everyone is together. She said it’s her favorite part. And once it’s up, it stays up. Trisha keeps her house festive through January, but she’s not superstitious about it. The tree just has to come down before Garth’s birthday in February. She also hosts a big cookie party every year where everyone brings a recipe from childhood. This year she’s celebrating with a brand-new Christmas album called “Christmastime” . . . which is available only at HSN. And next year she’s planning an acoustic tour.
Move over, Crocs — there’s a new divisive shoe in town. Justin Bieber is taking his Skylrk brand into new territory, teaming up with footwear tech company Zellerfeld to create a 3-D printed sneaker called the Earth Bender. The sneaker draws inspiration from soccer cleats, featuring an overturned tongue and mesh details across the upper. Bieber offered the style in a bright lilac shade for purchase, while a neutral oat version sat on display for curious shoppers to touch, but not take home.
Hilary Swank apologized for lashing out at a woman at an airport, not knowing she was a mom taking her sons on a Make-A-Wish trip to Disneyland.
Ryan Lochte is parting ways with half of his Olympic gold medals. Lochte, 41, appeared in a video from Goldin auction house on yesterday announcing that three of the six gold medals he has won in his four Olympic appearances will be available for purchase. “My Olympic medals represent memories I’ll carry for life, but now I want them to do more than sit on a shelf,” Lochte said. “I’m passing them on so they can help inspire and empower others. If these medals can give someone hope, fuel their dreams or help them reach their full potential,” he says, “then this is the greatest way I can give back.” Lochte won the 2016 gold medal before being suspended by USA Swimming for 10 months after it was revealed that he and three of his teammates lied about being robbed at gunpoint at a gas station during the Rio Olympics. Lochte’s initial claim to authorities was determined to be an exaggeration to cover up a confrontation with armed security guards over alleged vandalism.
