Zach Bryan just posted a long message on Instagram saying that he’s been sober for almost two months. Zach said a long motorcycle trip across the country helped him see he “really needed” support. Zach served in the Navy for 10 years, then immediately got launched into sudden fame. He said a lot of that pressure built up without him noticing. He admitted he was reaching for alcohol not for the taste but because there was, quote, “a black hole in him that always needed its void filled.” But now he’s working with a therapist to help him change the way he copes. Now he says, “I feel great. I feel content. I feel whole.” He reminded everyone that, “It’s OK to be weak at times and need help.”
