More bodycam footage from Morgan Wallen’s infamous chair-throwing night has been released. Here are some of the highlights:
- He says, “I ain’t done nothing wrong” many times throughout . . . even though there’s video footage of him throwing the chair over the balcony that almost killed two cops 60 feet below.
- Morgan was talking to the cop driving him about their favorite country singers and Morgan said, “Please do not play any Chris Young . . . He’s terrible.”
- Morgan was concerned about his custody situation, too. He told one of the officers, “I got a little boy. Is this gonna affect my custody battle? I hope not . . . that’s all I care about in the world.”
- His song with Thomas Rhett called “Mamas House” came on the radio and he got excited. But then he said, “Thomas Rhett would never get arrested.”
- And I guess he didn’t want another bad hair day like his 2020 arrest photo that went viral. So, he asked the cops if his hair looked “decent” before they took his mugshot. They even gave Morgan a comb. And then before they took the photo, Morgan asked the officers, “How do I look, man? Should I smile this time? I’m a lot happier than I was then.”
Ella Langley was about to perform her new single “Choosin’ Texas” at the Georgia Theatre, but she switched up the lyrics. She changed “Lone Star State” to “Bulldog State”. The crowd went wild, but of course, fans immediately took it as a jab at Megan Moroney and Riley Green, since Megan’s a proud Georgia girl and Bulldogs fan. And before the song, a fan up front tried to get Ella to spill the beans on who the song’s really about . . . but Ella laughed it off. She said, “Baby, I ain’t ever gonna do that. I ain’t never gonna do that.”
Jameson Rodgers is facing a lawsuit after allegedly hitting a fan with a full can of Miller Lite during his 2022 set at the Barefoot Country Music Festival in New Jersey. Rodgers tossed several unopened beers into the crowd, and one reportedly struck a fan, “violently and without warning”. It hit her in the head and face allegedly causing “severe and permanent” injuries. The case was actually filed last year, but now it’s back in the news after an appeals court ruled that Jameson’s label, Sony Music, must remain a defendant. Miller Brewing Company is also named in the suit. It’s just another reminder, please don’t throw things at concerts. Whether you’re a fan, or the artist.
A couple of Tucker Wetmore fans found themselves stuck in a muddy parking lot. But instead of hiding on his bus, Tucker jumped right in . . . and pushed vehicles out of the mud himself. He even stopped to snap selfies with some drenched fans along the way. He shared the video later with the caption, “Show got cancelled, so this is what we did instead.” Some fans commented that he’s a “good ol’ country boy” with a “heart of gold.
Former pros from “Dancing with the Stars” are slamming Jan Ranik’s casting as a pro because he’s not a ballroom dancer. Jan was Taylor Swift’s backup dancer, and critics think that’s the only reason he got the job.
