Kenny Chesney, June Carter Cash, and Tony Brown were all inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame this weekend. During Kenny’s speech he brought up a conversation he had with Megan Morone. She asked him if he ever let himself feel accomplished. Kenny said until that night he hadn’t. But once he saw himself surrounded by all of his heroes in the Country Hall’s rotunda . . . he finally felt a sense of accomplishment. And then he closed his speech out with a bit of wisdom from his early touring days with Alabama. One time Kenny was complaining about being tired, so Teddy Gentry told him, “Wait until you’ve been out here 42 years . . . then you can be tired.” Kenny laughed and said, “He was right.”
The “College GameDay” crew is coming to Nashville this weekend. It’s the first time they’ve been in the Music City since 2008. Vanderbilt vs Univ of Tenn (Vols). So who will ESPN bring out as this week’s celebrity guest picker? Here are some of the most obvious choices:

- Garth Brooks . . . Garth has supported Vandy in the past
Ella is on her Still Hungover Tour. She was performing in TX, when a fan near the front of the stage appeared to faint . Ella handled it like a pro. She quickly freestyled a version of Toby Keith’s song “Wish I Didn’t Know Now” . . . but added some funny lines. She sang, “Security over here . . . I think there is something over here right now . . . Yeah, we’re going to figure it out . . . Make sure nobody’s passing out.” And then in another show she reminded her fans to hydrate. She said, “Just drink some water. In between the tequila shots, one or two wouldn’t kill you.”
