Luke Combs is the highest-selling country artist of all time . . . but he’s also a diehard Carolina Panthers fan. Last year, Luke said what every frustrated fan was thinking . . . but he specifically called out owner David Tepper for the team’s struggles. But then Luke had to meet David face-to-face . . . and it was a little awkward. Luke had to ask David to use his stadium for the Concert for Carolina hurricane benefit with Eric Church. He said the two ended up talking for an hour, and David eventually admitted he’d seen the clip. But Luke laughed it off and said they’re “in good graces” now. Luke stood by his comments though and reminded everyone that he’s just a fan who cares deeply about his team. And now the Panthers are sitting at 4 wins and 3 losses, which is their first winning record this late in the season since 2017.

This weekend, Chris Young had a headlining set at Boots in the Park in Tucson, Arizona. A lot of fans are saying that he appeared very drunk during his performance. It only took a few songs, but it fell off the rails fast. A TikTok video from the crowd quickly made the rounds, with the caption accusing Chris of being, “drunkedy drunk drunk” while singing “I’m Comin’ Over”. The clip shows Chris sounding noticeably pitchy and struggling to stay on tempo. Someone even said it looked like “drunk karaoke.” Some fans are coming to Chris’ defense. They said it sounded more like an audio problem than anything else . . . and claimed he was dealing with bad in-ear monitors.
