Morgan Wallen’s “I Got Better” has climbed to No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, marking his 12th leader and dethroning his own “What I Want” after a 20-week rule. The song’s rise to the top of the chart was fueled by 13.2 million streams, a 31 million radio audience, and the release of its official video on October 1. This track is Wallen’s fourth No. 1 from his chart-topping album, I’m the Problem, which, along with One Thing at a Time and Dangerous: The Double Album, currently holds the top three spots on Top Country Albums. Since Wallen first topped the Hot Country Songs chart with “Whiskey Glasses” in May of 2019, no other artist has more than four leaders in that stretch, led by Luke Combs. Meanwhile, Combs is dominating Country Digital Song Sales with three new debuts – “Days Like These,” “My Kinda Saturday Night,” and “15 Minutes” – claiming the top three positions on the chart while adding to his record 11 No. 1s and 45 Top 10s. Combs’ current radio-promoted single, “Back in the Saddle,” also reached a new peak of No. 7 on the Hot Country Songs chart, while climbing to a high of No. 5 on Country Airplay. (Billboard)
