Apparently, Lainey Wilson is sparing no expense as she prepares to marry former NFL quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges. The biggest hurdle is the guest list. Lainey doesn’t want to leave anyone out. Currently the invitation list is up to multiple hundreds.
Tim McGraw made his last concert extremely cool for one couple in Ohio. Tim was performing a set in Youngstown, when he brought on two fans, Selena and Trent. Selena just thought they were going to have a special moment with Tim. But instead, Trent dropped to one knee and proposed mid-show. And the crowd erupted when Selena said yes. Tim congratulated them with hugs . . . and a selfie they’ll never forget.
A three-year-old just had a George Strait–themed birthday party and it’s going viral online. The TikTok shows a little dude, named Smith, decked out in a Stetson hat, denim shirt, and cowboy boots, sitting proudly next to a cardboard cutout of George. A banner nearby said, “Dang Strait! Smith is 3.” Fans couldn’t get enough of it. Someone wrote, “I’ve been in love with him since I was 4. I’m 44 now. Happy birthday, little man!” No word yet on whether George has seen the clip.
Scotty McCreery was asked who the most famous contact in his phone was. He said he had some NFL players, and some people from NC State . . . but by far the biggest celebrity in his phone was Garth Brooks. He said, “Garth is always the one that’s like ‘wow.’ Texting him is a little wild.”
Could Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi be the next celebrity break-up? One source says, “Portia loves Ellen dearly, but she feels totally suffocated much of the time, because every aspect of her life is constantly micromanaged. If she wants to go for a horse ride, a jog, even a trip to the shops, it’ll be met with a dozen questions, and Ellen hates going anywhere by herself, so Portia’s always on the hook to be by her side.” Portia allegedly “can’t go on like this”, and is considering taking time apart to “clear her head and get her life back.” They’ve been married since 2008, and have been living in the U.K. since last year. Ellen is 67 and Portia is 52.
