Miranda Lambert just helped the Academy of Country Music raise more than $420,000 to benefit a wide range of charities. It was called “ACM Presents Wine & Country” . . . and it was held at the legendary Hearst Castle in California. The event was headlined by a sold-out performance from Miranda. ACM Lifting Lives . . . Miranda’s MuttNation Foundation . . . and the Hearst Cancer Resource Center were just some of the charities that benefitted from this great event.
Morgan Wallen has wrapped his massive I’m the Problem Tour . . . closing things out this past weekend with a sold-out show at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Canada. Morgan kept the finale simple . . . He walked onstage with his band, and each member lit up a cigar to mark the end of the run. Morgan also paused mid-show to thank his fans. He said, “I almost want to keep playing more shows . . . I don’t think there’s a better fanbase on the entire planet.” Across the tour, Morgan played in front of more than a million fans, despite keeping the number of dates lower than his past tours. And it didn’t hurt that his supporting acts were huge stars, too. Ella Langley, Brooks & Dunn, and Miranda Lambert all opened for him.
