Reba McEntire and Rex Linn are officially engaged! They’ve known each other since the 1990s but didn’t start dating until 2020, after reconnecting during the pandemic. Reba shared that Rex reached out when her mother was sick, and from there the bond grew quickly. And they’ve been “pretty much inseparable ever since.” Reba says that they share a love of the cowboy lifestyle . . . and said that Rex is a better cook, but she brings the music. They now even work side-by-side on the sitcom “Happy’s Place” . . . which Rex calls a “dream come true.” Earlier this year, Rex described them as “best friends” who want to “cross the finish line” together . . .This will be Reba’s third marriage and Rex’s first. Congrats on the engagement Reba and Rex!
By now, you’ve probably seen the clip of Zach Bryan hopping a barbed wire fence to try and fight Gavin Adcock. Now we get to hear Gavin’s side of things. Gavin says Zach had been hanging around the festival all day with his security, asking other artists “Where’s Gavin?” and flipping people off. He says Zach waited until just before his set to pull up in a pickup truck outside the fence and start shouting threats. But rather than throw punches, Gavin chose to walk away. He said, “Had a headline show to play. Dude was absolutely wasted. Had to do what was good for the fans. Everybody knows how that would’ve ended.” He also said it wasn’t worth, “going to jail over that psycho.” But he did admit to stirring the pot, which escalated things. Gavin said, “He created this whole ‘I’m jumping over the fence’ narrative just to try to make himself look tougher even though he could have just walked on in the gate. He had been in there all day.” In the end, Gavin stood by his choice to keep the peace . . . He said, “No artist that cares about their fans is going to fight right before their set . . . I know my decision I made was right. I didn’t take the Zach Bryan bait. And I’ll be praying for him to get better because he sure needs it.”
Jelly Roll’s waistline is slimming down so much, that now he can fit into Louis Vuitton. He just took a picture at the Vatican with the caption is, “I can fit in Louis Vuitton now. Pray for my bank account.” Jelly was in Vatican City for the “Grace for the World” concert . . . and he even got to meet the Pope too. Jelly at one point weighed 550 pounds. And now he’s down nearly 200 pounds thanks to exercise, clean eating, and cutting down on late-night excess. And he’s not done yet. One of his main goals when he started his weight loss journey was getting on the cover of “Men’s Health” by 2026. And he looks well on his way.
Megan Moroney just checked a huge box in her young career: her very first headlining stadium show. On Friday night, the Georgia native lit up Credit One Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina as part of her Am I Okay? Tour. And the night was even more special when Kenny Chesney showed up to surprise her backstage just minutes before her show. Video of the moment shows Megan in her trademark royal blue dress and white cowboy boots, spinning around in shock when she realized Kenny was there. She squealed his name, hugged him tight, and asked, “What are you doing here?” Kenny later joined her on stage for a performance of their duet “You Had to Be There”. Chesney even left a handwritten note, telling her, “Megan you were amazing up there. You outshine everyone by just being yourself!! I love you, Kenny.” Megan’s Am I Okay? Tour continues tonight in Independence, Missouri.
