The NFL kicks off tonight. Pumpkin spice is being sold again at Starbucks, school’s back in session, and there are so many other fall activities you can start doing now. Especially if you’re a Lainey Wilson fan. Because there’s over 30 Lainey Wilson-themed CORN MAZES that you can visit in 25 different states and there’s one in Canada. The company is called Maize . . . and in the past, they’ve done this same thing for Reba McEntire and Luke Bryan. The company said, “In celebration of her current CMA honor of Entertainer of the Year, dozens of family farms are opening corn mazes paying tribute to Lainey Wilson.” They said you can, “get lost with Lainey.”
Reba McEntire’s most-famous song “Fancy” never made it to #1. Here are a few more universally loved country songs that never reached the top spot:
- “Amarillo by Morning” by George Strait
- “Callin’ Baton Rouge” by Garth Brooks
- “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” by Shania Twain
- “Crazy” by Patsy Cline
- “Red Solo Cup” by Toby Keith
- “Ol’ Red” by Blake Shelton
- “Life Is a Highway” by Rascal Flatts
Keith Urban and Blake Shelton were talking to each other in a promo for their new show “The Road” . . . and Blake brought up back in 2004, Keith was opening for Kenny Chesney on tour. In 2005, Kenny and Keith were both nominated for Entertainer of the Year at the CMAs. But Keith took down the biggest prize, and the “headliner” went home empty-handed. You could see the joy in Blake’s face re-telling the story . . . but Keith said, “It was an awkward moment.” Keith tried to break the tension by saying “he opened for everybody” . . . but shots were already fired.
Morgan Wallen was asked if he enjoys making records. He said, “It’s just like anything else. There are days where I think I hate it, just cause it’s hard. And then some days it happens like it’s supposed to. And it’s fun when it’s like that . . . But it’s challenging.” I can’t imagine all that limelight is good for anyone. And in the video, it looks like Morgan might be on his way to go hunting. So at least he’s giving himself a moment to unwind.
Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles were spotted holding hands.
Sophie Turner from “Game of Thrones” will play Lara Croft in Amazon’s “Tomb Raider” series.
Ed Harris has joined the cast of the “Yellowstone” spinoff “The Dutton Ranch”.
Devon Walker, who just left “Saturday Night Live” after three seasons, says the atmosphere on the show is “toxic”.
“Alive”, the new podcast from former “Blue’s Clues” host Steve Burns, premieres on September 17th.
Paris Jackson has had almost no involvement in the biopic about her father. “The narrative is being controlled and there’s a lot of inaccuracy . . . I prefer honesty over sales and monetary gain.”
Beyoncé is 44. “Crazy in Love”, “Irreplaceable”, “Single Ladies”.
Wes Bentley is 47. Kevin Costner’s son Jamie Dutton on “Yellowstone”,
Mark Ronson is 50. Biggest Hit: “Uptown Funk”.
Mike Piazza is 57. MLB Hall of Famer.
Damon Wayans is 65. “In Living Color”,
