Jason Aldean says he has PTSD from the Route 91 Harvest Festival mass shooting in Las Vegas. The lives of 60 people were taken, and over 800 people were injured on October 1st, 2017. Jason was performing at the time shots were fired, and luckily neither he, nor his band, crew, or pregnant wife were injured. Although his bassist stopped a bullet with his instrument. But since the traumatic event, he hasn’t considered seeing a therapist. Jason said “I guess [I’m] too Southern. Here’s the ironic thing. “We funded a ton of therapy for all the crews and everybody else. And then, you know, obviously I didn’t go. My therapy was me, my wife, my band, all of us that were kind of there. We all talked about it amongst each other.”
